Fine Art

The past couple months I have been working on a fine art photography collection. This style of photography is very new to me, but I had so much fun putting this collection together. Every person I worked with on this was so wonderful and brought a different personality to my pictures. Things I learned during this experience:
1. I love fine art photography!
2. For a photographer there is the work that makes you money, and then there is the work that makes you happy. Always take the time to do something for yourself. Make pictures that mean something to you.
3. Take a break from the technical part of photography and be creative and artsy. Try something new. Example: I printed one of my portraits black and white and then hand colored it in using pastel pencils. It turned out great and its one of a kind.
4. Try using textures in your editing.
5. Find someone that inspires you. Jennifer Hudson is my inspiration. Look at her photography at www.jenniferhudsonfineart.com. I saw her pictures in a gallery in San Francisco. They are amazing!
6. Have fun :-)
